Benin City, Nigeria

"Sickle cell made me a stronger person."

Olu is a motivational speaker and life coach who uses his experiences with sickle cell disease to inspire others.

"I've had more than 50 hospital admissions in my life. I've faced death, pain, and despair. But each time, I've come back stronger."

Olu's message is one of resilience and hope. He travels across Nigeria speaking at schools, churches, and community events, sharing his journey and encouraging others to never give up.

"Sickle cell is not a death sentence—it's a challenge. And challenges are meant to be overcome. If I can survive the crises and the hospital stays, I can achieve anything. And so can you."
